The doors came down for the last time yesterday in Roxbury for the firehouse on Columbus Avenue, near Egleston Square. It was an all-out for Engine Forty-two, Rescue Two and District Nine, as the city broke ground for its first new firehouse in more than thirty years.
A new waterfront community's taking shape in East Boston, with the first phase of the Clippership Wharf development. The mixed-use luxury project will have almost five hundred apartments and condos, built on historic wharves, and offering spectacular views of Boston Harbor.
