Once again this morning, battalions of flags spread over the grass of Boston Common, to honor thirty-seven thousand veterans from Massachusetts. That was purpose of the tenth annual Memorial Day service, organized by the Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund, with flags planted by volunteers. The Museum of Fine Arts has apologized for racially insensitive language and profiling of seventh-grade students from a charter school in Dorchester.
