We begin tonight with a reconfiguration of Boston schools--including new buildings and the end of separate middle schools. In a change from an earlier plan, the McCormack Middle School and Community Leadership Academy who be combined in a renovated building in Dorchester. As of this morning, East Boston has a second permanent station for emergency medical response. Located near Logan Airport, but also serving the neighborhood, the station was renovated by the city and Massport, after concerns about response times. The M-B-T-A's trying a new way to speed up service to Logan Airport on the Silver Line. Under a pilot program starting this summer, buses going to the airport could use ramp in the Seaport District between a restricted haul road and Interstate 90.
