In Episode 3, we will discuss the response to the tragedy of systemic sexual abuse of the Catholic Church, how do we ignite change, pause for reflection, and opportunities for transformation through the photos of Boston documentary photographer, Lisa Kessler, who has a personal connection with the issue. Lisa’s new publication, Heart in the Wound, to be released early in 2025, chronicles the response of the victims, the community and the catholic church to the revelation of priests sexual assaults on both boys and girls, long concealed by church officials. The photographs were taken over a 15-year period, mostly in Boston.
